My YouTube Has Been Made "Pro"
I’ve hit a milestone and would love to share my latest.
YouTube is monetizing my videos!🎉
The channel has grown rapidly to 1,175 followers, 8,000 watch hours, and half a million views.
“Er, who are you, again?”
Well, I was an academic doing post-doctoral research on Noam Chomsky’s Propaganda Model. However, after making an odd documentary about government assassinations, The Writer with No Hands, I decided to focus on entertainment.
I value free speech and detest dogma. I don’t necessarily oppose the global free market - I just believe it should be more like a jumble sale and less like an arms bazaar. I think the CIA has all the integrity of Chicken McNuggets.
I stood for Parliament in 2024. I advocated for Julian Assange at the United Nations in Geneva when he was a political prisoner. My biggest project has been co-producing Theaters of War, where we used the Freedom of Information Act to expose the “deep state’s” role in rewriting thousands of American entertainment products.
“What’s the point of all this?”
I’ve never really had a central hub for my material before. But this year, I’m making YouTube the place for all my visual work. Meanwhile, as well as being the place for my written articles, Substack will serve as a newsletter to highlight my key stuff from month to month.
I want to grow a community of people - that’s you - who like me as a writer and performer. I’m going to maintain my mix of antiwar speeches, hit-and-miss jokes, in-depth interviews, black-humoured stories, political analysis, impeccable acting, and dyspraxic magic, which help maintain my status as your favourite D-list anti-celebrity.
I still teach a bit at university but it’s very part timey, so I’d like to earn more from these platforms. I’m very grateful to the handful of random people who donated to my substack last year - thank you, it was really encouraging!
The ultimate purpose is to explore power, conflict and propaganda on a large scale in ways that are varied, illuminating and enjoyable. That way, I think we can together make a more decent and understanding world.

2. New Series On Conspiracies
I am making a series of short films, which aim to disprove high-profile mysteries. Why am I the right person to do this? Well, because I have been personally involved in assessing several conspiracies. What makes the series unique? Instead of falling down a bunch of rabbit holes and forming a simplistic opinion or advancing a polemic, I will attempt to identify the key piece of evidence to falsify each mystery. The series will include classics like the deaths of JFK, Epstein and Princess Di.
